Dalradian’s proposed project will create over 400 jobs for our area. Dalradian purchased the mineral rights to the Curraghinalt Gold Project in late 2009. Since then, we have invested £56million into the project and defined an in situ 4.4 million ounce gold resource. Curraghinalt is one of the top, undeveloped deposits by grade in the world. We are currently conducting a Feasibility Study which includes an economic assessment of the project.
Having completed 130,000m of drilling and almost 2,000m of underground workings, we believe the proposed mine has the potential to provide employment for at least a generation. Our investment will bring other direct benefits to the local communities, through supply chain and education and training opportunities, as well as taxes to Northern Ireland’s economy.
Hundreds of millions of pounds of investment
More than 400 jobs in both the construction and operation phases
Working to world-class environmental standards
A permanent fund, managed by and for the community
